Hackney-on-Sea

The Art of Dining are taking over F. Cooke's Fish Bar in Broadway Market to stage an exhibition of Tim Mara's art, and hold a 3-night pop-up restaurant.

The theme of the evening is 1970’s home and holiday. The restaurant’s theme is Hackney-On-Sea. It portrays a 1970’s British beach holiday complete with seagulls, fish and chips and even a donkey.

‘At home’, above the restaurant is an original 1970’s family home presenting an exhibition of some of the most innovative and skilled screen prints produced in the 1970-90’s by British Royal Academy professor and artist Tim Mara (1948-1997).
